I'm a Graphic Designer/Artist

 

I completed my Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degree in Sequential Art with a minor in Art History from Savannah College of Art & Design in 1997. ​  Sequential Art refers to the art form of using a train of images deployed in sequence​​ to convey information.​​  It combines graphic design and illustration in either hand drawn or computer art to produce the design.  Some of the earliest examples are cave paintings and Egyptian hieroglyphics all the way to comics and children books/magazines of today.

For the past 15 years I have been putting this degree to work creating graphic designs for customers to use in marketing products from signs, banners, apparel, graphic design, and more.  Extensive knowledge in screen printing, embroidery, and sublimation processes.  Strong attention to detail, color theory, complex formats in PC and Mac platforms.  I work closely with the client to insure their ideas come to fruition. I want to put my hard work ethic and artistic ability to work for you.

 

I have co-owned Ink & More Screen Printing, an apparel decorating buiness, for 8 years.  My experience in the production side and the business side helps me in my company give customers the designs they  are looking for with always mindful of being cost effective.  I never know what type of designs, either screen printing, embroidery, or other type of medium will come through the door.  I have customers that don't have any ideas to ones that have there own artwork, but are looking for a different way of promoting there designs.  Gaining experience in customer service, quailty control, vender realtionships, and record keeping

added with my graphic design knowledge makes me a great canidate for any company.
